Mikaela Kautzky is an artist living and working on the unceded territories of the xwməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), Stó:lō and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil- Waututh) Nations. She is currently working on an art publication called Skate or Dye which looks at how natural dyeing and earth based textile methodologies can be used as design precedents for creating more inclusive and diverse skate spaces.
